How to install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection

You have several ways to install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection:
- Along with the following Kaspersky applications: Kaspersky Free, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Total Security or Kaspersky Security Cloud. In this case Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection will be installed automatically.
- Manually with the installation file. See the Online Help page for instructions.
- From the command line using specific parameters. See the guide below.
After you install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection, Kaspersky Security Data Escort Adapter appears in Device Manager and Network Connections. Do not remove or disable it.
How to install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection through the command line
The guide is applicable to Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection version 21.3.10.391.

Kaspersky Security Data Escort Adapter is a virtual network adapter. The system uses it for establishing a VPN connection.
Do not delete Kaspersky Security Data Escort Adapter and do not disable it.
Kaspersky Security Data Escort Adapter is displayed in Windows Device Manager.
