About application deployment using the isolated model

When Kaspersky Anti-Virus is deployed using the isolated model, the application is installed on several isolated Lotus Domino servers. The isolated deployment model is recommended in the following cases:
- There is no constant connection among Lotus Domino servers on an enterprise network.
- There are network traffic limitations on the volume of data transmitted and data speed.
- Little disk space has been allocated for the Lotus Domino server's database directory.
When Kaspersky Anti-Virus is deployed using the isolated model, primary installation of the application is performed separately on each server on the enterprise network. The server must have the necessary permissions.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus can be installed either through the Lotus Notes client or a web browser. The installation process does not depend on the chosen method or the operating system installed on the Lotus Domino server. However, the preparing to install and getting started stages differ depending on the installation method.
In order to successfully start remote installation of the application via a web browser, the HTTP task must be started on the Lotus Domino server from which the application is to be installed on other servers.
