Enabling and disabling database scanning

By default, database scanning is disabled and is started according to schedule or manually by the user. Information about the launch of database scanning modules is recorded in the Kaspersky Anti-Virus Event log.

You can enable and disable database scanning as required. This operation is performed for each server individually.

To enable or disable database scanning:

  1. Select the server for which you want to enable or disable database scanning.
  2. In the action panel click the Modify button and in the control panel select the Information tab (see figure below).

  3. Under Protection status in the Database scanning line (see figure below), select the required option: Enable or Disable.
  4. In the action panel, click the Apply button to save the changes.
