About Kaspersky Anti-Virus databases

The application includes the following databases:

• The Control Center database (kavcontrolcenter.nsf) is used to manage and store Kaspersky Anti-Virus settings;
• The Quarantine database (kavquarantine.nsf) is used to store quarantined objects and apply actions to them;
• The Event log and statistics database (kaveventslog.nsf) is used to store the events registered during operation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus and statistical information about scanned objects and the actions taken on them.

All application databases are stored in the directory for Kaspersky Anti-Virus databases (by default, the kavdatabases folder).

The databases mentioned above are accessed via the user interface of the Control Center database.

When employing distributed deployment of the application, the administrator of each Lotus Domino server has the capability to use the tools of the Lotus Domino server to configure users' access to the databases.
