When the distributed model of Kaspersky Anti-Virus deployment on an enterprise network is used, protection settings and the primary application tasks can be managed on all protected Lotus Domino servers through a web browser.
The web interface allows Kaspersky Anti-Virus to be managed on protected servers from computers on which a Lotus Notes client is not installed.
To manage Kaspersky Anti-Virus via a web browser, the HTTP task must be started on the Lotus Domino server from which the application will be managed. The HTTP task does not need to be loaded on the other protected servers.
You can perform the following actions via a web browser:
- Install and remove Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
- Activate the application.
- Connect to the Control Center database (kavcontrolcenter.nsf) and manually perform the following operations on the protected servers:
- start the anti-virus database update task;
- start the database scan task;
- delete records from the Event log and statistics database;
- delete objects from the Quarantine database.
