Downloading a key file via the Lotus Notes client or web browser

Prior to installing the key file via the Lotus Notes client or web browser, make sure that it is accessible via the file system of the client computer from which the Control Center database has been opened.

To download a key file via the Lotus Notes client or web browser:

1. Select the server for which you want to install the key file.
2. In the control panel select the License tab.
3. Click the Add key link.
4. In the window that will open, select the key file with the key extension and click the Open button.

   The selected key file is downloaded to the server.

On the License tab, you can view the following information about the active license:

• Functionality. The following restrictions on functionality are possible:
  • Full – the key has been added.
  • Management only – the key has not been added or the validity period of a trial license has expired.
  • Update only – an error occurred when updating the anti-virus databases, the anti-virus databases are corrupted, or the key is black-listed.
  • Update is not available – the validity period of a commercial license has expired.
• Type. Type of license: trial or commercial.
• Expiration date. License validity period expiry date.
• Days remaining. Number of days before expiration of the license.
• Key. Unique alphanumeric sequence.
• End user. Information about license owner: organization, name, country, email address, and other information.
