Error 2771 when installing a Kaspersky application

During the installation of a Kaspersky application you may receive an error with the code 2771. This is because the previous version of the Kaspersky application was not removed from the computer. Remove it to fix this error.
Removing the application with Windows OS tools
- Start the setup wizard of the application. Follow the instructions on removing Kaspersky applications.
- Follow the steps of the setup wizard to fully remove the application.
- Restart your PC.
- Retry the installation.
Removing the application with the kavremover tool
If the issue persists, use the kavremover utility. All license information will be removed and you will need to reactivate your application.
