Patch E
Patch E for Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac version 19.0.0.294 was released on October 7, 2019.
Patch E introduces support of macOS 10.15.
To install patch E:
- Run the database update in Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac. For instructions, see this article.
- When the update completes, restart your Mac.
To check if the patch was installed correctly:
- Open Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac,
- Go to the upper-left corner of the screen and click Help → Kaspersky Security Cloud Support.
The window with the version number will open. If the update was successful, the letter e will be added to the version number.
Patch D
Patch D for Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac version 19.0.0.294 was released on April 16, 2019.
Patch D fixes an issue that caused the Kaspersky Security extension to disappear from Safari and not be installed in the browser. The extension now works reliably in Safari.

- Fix of the error which caused full and quick scan tasks to stop responding and taking long time to complete.
- Fix of the error related to the security certificate installation to Firefox.
- Performance improvements: now Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac works faster.

Patch B includes error fixes and performance improvements.

Patch A for Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac version 19.0.0.294 was released on September 3, 2018.
Patch A adds the support of macOS 10.14.

What's new
- The application has been optimized for 64-bit systems.
- The extension for Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox has been updated. The extension protects your online activity and lets you control application components.
- The Secure Connection component has been updated. The component is installed like a separate application and protects the data you send and receive, even when you connect to the Internet via a proxy server.
- The Hard Drive Health Monitor component has been added. The component checks the status of your hard drives and notifies you if something is wrong with them.
- The Account Check component has been added. The component checks email addresses for possible leaks and notifies you if your data may have become publicly accessible.
- The Kaspersky Security Cloud for Mac interface has been updated.
- Managing the application using VoiceOver has been simplified.
Known limitations
- New Webcam Protection settings are only applied after restarting any currently running applications.
- Web Anti-Virus doesn’t scan HTTPS traffic under Guest accounts.
- Devices with two or more IP addresses may not be displayed in your home network's device list.
