Setting up access to applications or application categories is not available for iOS and macOS devices.

By default, Kaspersky Safe Kids blocks some browsers that are not fully compatible on Windows and Android devices and also apps that can be used by children to bypass the protection settings you have set. You can edit the application access settings at any time using the instructions below.

To set up access to an application regardless of its category:

  1. Go to the Kids section.
  2. Select the profile of the child.
  3. Go to the Applications subsection.
  4. Click the Settings button.
  5. Make sure that the App monitoring toggle switch is on. If the toggle switch is off, flip it on.
  6. Select a child's device.
  7. For applications on the device for which you want to allow or limit access, click the link to the right of the application name with the current access type.
  8. Perform one of the following actions for the specified application:
    • To allow the child to access the application, select Allowed in the drop-down list.
    • To forbid the child from accessing the application, select Forbidden in the drop-down list.
    • To limit use of the application, select Restricted in the drop-down list and specify how many hours a day the child can use the application.
  9. Click the Save button.

Within a few minutes, the new settings are applied on the child's devices if they are connected to the Internet.
