About user roles
A user role is a collection of rights to perform certain actions on the Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers portal. Depending on your role, different sections and functionality of the portal are available to you.
The following roles are available in Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers:
- The developer role is assigned by default after registration on the Kaspersky Appicenter for Developers portal. Users with the developer role have access to the portal's basic functionality.
- The distributor role is assigned to portal users who are employees of a company (legal entity) that has entered into the License Agreement and received the status of a Kaspersky Appicenter partner. Users with the distributor role have access to the portal's entire functionality.
To assign the distributor role to individual users, a company representative must conclude a License Agreement and provide the necessary documents and a list of users who need access to advanced features in order to publish applications on behalf of the company. After the License Agreement is concluded, the company will be assigned the status of a Kaspersky Appicenter partner, and its employees will be assigned the role of distributors.
