The application stores captured configurations for each device while running configuration control jobs. If configuration processing mode is set to Compare with benchmark, the application considers the first loaded device configuration as golden. You can set any other saved device configuration as a benchmark.
Connect to the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks Server through the web interface using the Administrator account.
On the Devices tab in the Assets section, select the relevant device.
The details area appears in the right part of the web interface window.
On the Configurations tab, in the details area, select the table row with the desired configuration component (for example, the Local users and groups component, where the information about device users is stored). The application must have at least one unique entry for the selected component in the Archive entries column, or at least two in the Total configurations column for Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks 4.2.1.
You will see a window containing detailed information about the selected configuration component.
In the drop-down list, select the date and time when the configuration you want to set as the golden configuration was received.
The window will display detailed information about the saved configuration of the selected component.
Click Set as benchmark.
In the prompt window, confirm the assignment of the golden configuration.
