Locking and unlocking a remote session

Kaspersky Thin Client automatically locks remote sessions when the screen goes dark after a period of idle time specified in the thin client's settings. You can also lock and then unlock a remote session manually.

To lock a running remote session,

either press Win+L or expand the connection panel and click lock..

The remote session will be locked. A lock screen will be displayed.

To close a locked remote session:

  1. Move the mouse or press any key.
  2. On the screen that appears, click Terminate the remote session.

The remote session will be closed, and the application window in which you started the remote session will be displayed.

To unlock a remote session:

  1. Move the mouse or press any key.
  2. On the screen that appears, type the password you used to connect to the remote system.

If you initially authenticated with a broker or another remote connection service, you need to enter the same password you used to connect to that service.

  3. Click Unlock.

The remote session will be unlocked. The remote environment screen will be displayed.
