Managing policies and administration groups

In the Web Console, you can add thin clients running Kaspersky Thin Client and connected to Kaspersky Security Center to an administration group to configure system settings using policies in a centralized manner.

By default, immediately after installing Kaspersky Security Center, there is one group in the hierarchy of administration groups—Managed devices. Any groups you create will be its child groups. In the policy created for the Managed devices group, you can configure devices across all administration groups. For example, we recommend using the policy to add certificates in a centralized manner. For more information about the hierarchy of groups and policies, see the Kaspersky Security Center Online Help.

This section provides instructions on creating administration groups, adding thin clients to them, as well as creating and editing policies. For more information, please see the policy and device management sections in the Kaspersky Security Center Help.
