Managing fully qualified domain names

You can specify fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) as a source qualifier in security rules.

The table of domain names is displayed in the Application & Services → NGFW → Objects → FQDNs section.

The table contains the following information about FQDN objects:

Name is the unique name of the FQDN object.
Description is an arbitrary description. Optional setting.
Domains are domain names included in the FQDN object.
DNS server is the DNS server used to resolve domain names from the FQDN object.
VRF is the name of the virtual routing and forwarding table to which the FQDN object is added.
