Managing fully qualified domain names
You can specify fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) as a source qualifier in security rules.
The table of domain names is displayed in the Application & Services → NGFW → Objects → FQDNs section.
The table contains the following information about FQDN objects:
- Name is the unique name of the FQDN object.
- Description is an arbitrary description. Optional setting.
- Domains are domain names included in the FQDN object.
- DNS server is the DNS server used to resolve domain names from the FQDN object.
- VRF is the name of the virtual routing and forwarding table to which the FQDN object is added.
