General information about kosctl

The kosctl tool simplifies interaction with KasperskyOS-based solutions. This tool is installed together with the Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 1000 SDK and is located in the directory /opt/KasperskyOS-SDK-KISG-Platform-<version>/toolchain/bin/kosctl. To use the tool, run the following commands:

export PATH=$PATH:/opt/KasperskyOS-SDK-KISG-Platform-<version>/toolchain/bin

Dependencies for the kosctl tool are set separately from the Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 1000 SDK, therefore you can update dependency packages by running the update_third_party.sh script located in the directory /opt/KasperskyOS-SDK-KISG-Platform-<version>/toolchain/kosctl/bin/. The options accepted by the script include the package name and its version, for example: /opt/KasperskyOS-SDK-KISG-Platform-<version>/toolchain/kosctl/bin/update_third_party.sh requests==2.32.3. The new package version must be compatible with the kosctl tool. Otherwise, the update will fail.
