How to install .apk file
- Download the .apk installation file from the Kaspersky website or this page.
- Tap Keep or Download again. It is safe to download our .apk files from Kaspersky websites.
- Find the downloaded .apk file. Open Downloads in your browser or go to My Files → Downloads and tap the file.
- If you see the message "For your security, your phone currently isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source. You can change this in Settings", tap Settings and turn on the Allow permission toggle.
- It may be necessary to allow installation of .apk files in Android settings. Depending on your device brand, go to:
- Settings → Apps → Advanced → Special access → Unknown apps → find your browser in the list and turn on the toggle switch.
- Settings → Apps, tap
in the upper-right corner → Special access → Install unknown apps → find your browser in the list and turn on the toggle switch.
- Tap Install. Once the installation completes, tap Open.
How to activate
- To activate an existing subscription, tap I have a subscription on the first screen that appears right after the installation. If you only see the Sign in screen instead, proceed to step 2.
- Choose a way to activate your subscription:
- If your subscription is added to your My Kaspersky account, tap Sign in to My Kaspersky and sign in to your account. We offer all our customers to create an account when installing the app for the first time: if you have a My Kaspersky account, your subscription details are likely to be saved there.
- If the app remains inactive after logging in to My Kaspersky, you might have either not added the license key to your account yet or used it to its maximum capacity. Add your subscription to the My Kaspersky account by signing in on another device that is activated with it, or use this guide to remove the app from another device, and then activate it on this device.
- If you know the activation code, tap Enter the activation code and enter the code. Tap Next.
- If entering the activation code returns an error, check its expiration date and double-check for typos.
- If you purchased the app in Google Play, tap Restore purchase → Restore.
