Functions of Kaspersky DDoS Protection

The System performs the following functions:

• Obtains statistical parameters from the traffic of Protected resources.
• Builds profiles of legitimate traffic of Protected resources and uses these profiles to develop rules for detecting anomalies and attacks.
• Monitors the traffic of Protected resources to identify anomalies and attacks.
• Filters parasitic elements out of the traffic of Protected resources by redirecting the traffic through a Scrubbing Center.
• Performs auxiliary tasks that support operation of the listed functions.
