Installing a Sensor at the Customer's site

A Sensor is a component of the System (Software) that is delivered to the Customer. It is installed on the server that the Customer (or Partner) provides and connects to network equipment that is traversed by traffic of the Protected resource. It receives the Protected resource's traffic statistics that are required for detecting anomalies and attacks. This is necessary to protect encrypted traffic without forwarding a certificate outside of the Customer's infrastructure.

Sensor installation at the Customer's site is applicable to "On demand" mode for all connection schemes, including BGP+routing, DNS+routing, and DNS+PROXY.
