Installing the Sensor OS on a server

Boot the system using a bootable USB drive or CD/DVD that was previously created using the operating system image file. The operating system image is available upon request.

Please make sure that the RAID array is correctly configured on the server and that there is sufficient free disk space.

On the screen prompting you to select an option for booting the operating system, select option 1 (press Enter or wait for the automatic selection after the timeout period ends).

At the next step, select the drive where the operating system will be installed.

WARNING! The system drive will be formatted without any warning.

Select the network interface that will be used as the management interface.

Define the necessary settings for the network interface: IP address, subnet mask, default gateway.

The installation process will start.

When the installation process is complete, you will be prompted to restart the system. Press Enter or wait for the timeout period to end.

After the installation and restart, you will see an authorization prompt. Installation is now complete.
