Deployment scenario for Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 based on EPP applications with a built-in agent

Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 deployment consists of the following steps:
- Installing a solution for centralized network security management
Install Kaspersky Security Center or use Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console to manage Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum in your infrastructure.
- Installing EPP applications
Install EPP applications that support Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 functionality on the devices you want to protect.
Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 is supported starting from Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 11.7 and Kaspersky Security Center 13.2. For details on supported versions of applications, refer to the Software requirements section.

- Installing the web plug-in
Install the EPP application web plug-in for Kaspersky Security Center Web Console.
EPP application web plug-ins are built into Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console by default.

- Activating Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum
If your license for using EPP applications on devices includes Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 functionality, no additional steps are required.
If you purchased a license to use Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 2.3 after installing Kaspersky applications on the devices, activate the solution.
- Creating a Kaspersky Security Center policy
Create policies that will be applied to the groups of devices protected by EPP applications.

- Enabling Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum on the devices
Integrate the EPP applications and enable Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum in the EPP application settings on devices. For details, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help.
- Configuring the threat report
Configure the threat report for viewing alert details.
- Adding a widget
Add the EDR alerts widget to the dashboard for monitoring alerts.
- Displaying the list of alerts
Enable display of the Alerts section in Kaspersky Security Center Web Console or Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console.
