Kaspersky Endpoint Security allows limiting unwanted actions on users' devices by setting an administrator password.
If Password protection is enabled, Kaspersky Endpoint Security requires a password upon attempts to do any of the following:
- Configure application settings
- Exit the application
- Remove the license key
- Remove the application
Note: Password protection restricts removal of Kaspersky Endpoint Security only when performed via the uninstaller.
- Restore quarantined files from Backup
- View reports.
Disabling Password protection does not disable the policy settings. If editing a setting is prohibited in the policy, it cannot be edited even if Password protection is disabled.
