Issue in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.5.0 for Windows that prevents the boot of devices encrypted with FDE in the Legacy BIOS Mode

Issue

An issue has been detected in Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows that may cause a problem with booting the devices with FDE encryption in the Legacy BIOS mode starting December 21, 2021.

Solution

Do one of the following:

• Upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows to version 11.6.0 or later.
• Install patch 11.5.1 for Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows.
