Kaspersky Endpoint Security now boasts the following features and improvements:

• Kaspersky Endpoint Security has been integrated with Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response (KATA), a component of the Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform solution, to ensure the protection of your organization's IT infrastructure and promptly detect threats, including zero-day attacks, targeted attacks and advanced persistent threats.
• The load of the remote installation task has been optimized. Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent processes were added to the default list of exclusions by process so as not to create additional load when the remote installation task is running. You can remove these exclusions if necessary.
• Improved Application Control for the Arm architecture. This was achieved by implementing a more reliable mechanism for receiving command line arguments and environment variables so that the application receives the necessary data in more cases and assigns a more accurate status to the applications being started. Additionally, application launches are faster thanks to shorter scan times.
• The application restarts automatically when updating through Kaspersky Security Center. When updating via remote installation, the application now automatically restarts to save the administrator the additional step of restarting the application.
• Backup files are saved from the administrator's device. In the Kaspersky Endpoint Security administration plug-in, in the Storages -> Backup section, now you can download a file and save it to the disk of the administrator's device.
• Improved product stability on high-load servers. This was achieved by improving the mechanism for closing file descriptors and removing the existing limit on their number in order to avoid blocked connections and application crashes, as well as to save the user from the need to manually configure these limits in an effort to balance process generation delays and application performance.
• Changes in task names:
  • Virus Scan -> Malware Scan.
  • Application Control -> Application Control.
• The logic for saving information to trace files has been improved. Information that may contain personal data (for example, requests or command lines of third-party applications running on the device) is no longer saved to trace files. The application configuration file contains a new setting that lets you enable display of trace file information that may contain personal data if necessary (for example, to investigate incidents).
• * The Kaspersky Endpoint Security distribution kit no longer includes Network Agent (a Kaspersky Security Center component that ensures interaction between the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server and Kaspersky Endpoint Security). We recommend to download the latest version of Network Agent on the application download page.
• Support for joint operation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security and Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Linux has been discontinued. If the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent for Linux application is installed on your device, you must uninstall it before installing Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.4.0 for Linux.
• * We updated the list of supported platforms and operating systems and added support for snap browsers.
