This article concerns Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Linux (version 11.0.0.2706).

In a Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux policy it is not possible to use data about devices received from a computer with a different operating system.

For example: you have added a removable device which was used and detected on a Windows computer to the list of trusted devices in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux policy. However, upon connecting the device to the computer access to this device will still be blocked due to import limitations from different operating systems.

To avoid such cases, add a computer with the corresponding operating system to the Device ID field when adding removable drives to trusted. Add a computer running a Linux operating system in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux policy and a computer running a Windows operating system in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows policy.
