UpdateDefinitions. Updating databases and application software modules

Running the Update of databases and application modules task. Kaspersky Endpoint Security uses the default source: Kaspersky update servers.

To run the task, the administrator must Allow use of local tasks in the policy.

To run the command, go to the folder where the Kaspersky Endpoint Security executable file is located.

Command syntax

kescli --opswat UpdateDefinitions

You can view the release date and time of the current antivirus databases by using the GetDefinitionsetState command.
