The Excluded mount points table contains the mount points to be excluded from scanning by tasks that use the file operation interceptor (File Threat Protection and Anti-Cryptor).

In the Path column, paths to excluded mount points are displayed.

The table is empty by default.

You can add, edit, and delete items in the table.

Parameter	Description
File system	You can select the type of file system in the drop-down list: Local is for local directories. You can use masks to specify the path. You can use the * (asterisk) character to form a file or directory name mask. One * character takes the place of any set of characters (including an empty set) to the / character in the file or directory name. For example, /dir//file or /dir///file. Two consecutive characters take the place of any set of characters (including an empty set) in the file or directory name, including the / character. For example, /dir/*/file/ or /dir/file/. The mask can be used only once in a directory name. For example, /dir///file is an incorrect mask. Mounted is for remote directories mounted on a server via the Samba or NFS protocol. All mounted is for all remote directories mounted on a server via the Samba and NFS protocol. The Local option is selected by default.
Access protocol	This drop-down list is available if the Mounted option is selected in the drop-down list of file systems. You can select the remote access protocol in the drop-down list: NFS Samba The NFS option is selected by default.
Path	Entry field for specifying the path to the local directory that you want to exclude from a scan. You can use masks to specify the path. If a path is not specified, Kaspersky Endpoint Security does not create an exclusion scope. This entry field is available if the Local option is selected in the drop-down list of file systems.
