Main application window

The main window of Kaspersky Endpoint Security contains interface elements that provide access to the application functions.

The main application window is divided into several parts:

• The central part of the window displays the protection status of your computer. Clicking this part of the main window takes you to the Protection center window.
• The Scan tab displays the virus scan task state and the number of detected threats. Clicking this tab takes you to the Scan window. In this window, you can start or stop virus scan, boot sector scan, and memory scan tasks. Also, you can view reports for these tasks.
• The Update tab displays the state of the Update task and anti-virus databases. Clicking this tab takes you to the Update window. In this window, you can start or stop the Update and Update distribution tasks. Also, you can view reports for these tasks.
• The lower part of the main application window contains the following elements:
  • Reports button. Clicking this button takes you to the Reports window, where you can view tasks statistics and various reports.
  • Storage button. Clicking this button takes you to the Storage window, which contains information about objects in the Storage.
  • Settings button. Clicking this button takes you to the Settings window, where you can enable or disable participation in Kaspersky Security Network, File Threat Protection, Firewall, Anti-Cryptor, and File Integrity Monitoring tasks.
  • Support button. Clicking this button takes you to the Support window, which contains information about the current version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, about licenses, key status, databases state, operating system, and links to Kaspersky information resources.

To open the main window of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, perform one of the following actions:

• Double-click or right-click the application icon in the notification area of the taskbar.
• Right-click the application and select Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10.1.4 for Linux ARM64 Edition.
