Custom update sources

This table contains a list of custom sources of database updates. As it updates, Kaspersky Endpoint Security accesses update sources in the order in which they appear in the list of update sources.

The table contains the following columns:

  • Update source can be HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP servers or directories on local network servers.
  • Use this source displays whether the source will be used in a task (Enabled or Disabled). You can switch the toggle button on / off in this column or select / clear Use this source check box in the Update source window (you can open it by clicking the Add button or the link with the update source name).

This table is available if the Other sources on the local network or the global network option has been selected.

The table is empty by default.

You can add, edit, delete, move up, or move down update sources in the table.

In the Settings section, you can specify the response timeout and the application update download settings.
