You can remotely update Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes 1.2 to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes 1.3 using Kaspersky Security Center by performing the actions described in this section.

To update the application managed by the Kaspersky Security Center policy:

  1. Update Network Agent to the latest version.

If Network Agent is not updated, the application cannot be managed using Kaspersky Security Center.

The application continues working correctly during the Network Agent update.

  2. Install Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes 1.3 using Kaspersky Security Center

If you want to update the application, but do not want to enable the graphical user interface, specify the USE_GUI=No setting value in the autoinstall.ini configuration file.

  3. Restart Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Linux Nodes using Kaspersky Security Center

If an error occurs while updating the application, the update is rolled back and the previous version of the application is started. However, the package manager (rpm/dpkg) will indicate a new version of the application.

Refer to Kaspersky Security Center documentation for more details about this type of application update.
