Upgrading from a previous version of the application to version 4.0

You can upgrade a previous version of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.0. Any version of the application beginning with version 3.0 can be upgraded to the specified version.

You can upgrade to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks version 4.0 in the following ways:

• Centrally on all nodes where the previous version of the application was installed.

  This option uses the application components centralized installation script to complete the procedure for centralized re-installation of components (without removing Server and sensor nodes where you want to upgrade the application).

• Locally at each node where a component from the previous version of the application is installed.

  This option uses the application components local installation script.
