The Wi-Fi Control task has a number of default settings that you can change according to security requirements (see the table below).

Task mode.

Notify Only

By default, the task only uses entries in the task log to notify the user about the blocking and allowing of connections to Wi-Fi networks. Connections are not actually blocked.

You can choose the Active mode to protect a computer after creating a list of trusted Wi-Fi networks.

Allow connections to the following Wi-Fi networks

The list of trusted Wi-Fi networks is taken into consideration.

The list of trusted Wi-Fi networks is empty.

You can ignore the list of exclusions for trusted Wi-Fi networks in order to block connections to all Wi-Fi networks.

Task start schedule

At application launch

The Wi-Fi Control task starts automatically when the application starts. You can configure settings to start the task on a schedule.
