Updating to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes 3.2 is possible for version 2.6 and later of the application. The update is performed by installing the new version on top of the existing version of the application and does not require a restart.

By default, the application creates a new installation folder with the name of the new application version on the basis of the path to the existing application installation folder. You can manually specify the path to a new application installation folder.

When updating Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes to version 3.2, the older installed version of the application is automatically removed.

If your installed version of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes is earlier than 2.6, you need to remove the installed application before installing the new version.

When updating a password-protected installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes version 2.6 and later, you need to enter the password in the installer.

When updating the application, the current license is automatically applied to Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes 3.2, and the application's new components and tasks are available to use in full. The license expiration date does not change.

When updating an application with an expired license, the new version of the application will have limited functionality after it is installed (for example, application database updates are not available).
