Installing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes via Kaspersky Security Center

Detailed information about generating an installation package and creating a remote installation task is provided in the Kaspersky Security Center Implementation Guide.

If you intend to manage Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes via Kaspersky Security Center in the future, make sure that the following conditions are met:

Devices can also be combined into an administration group in order to later manage the protection settings using Kaspersky Security Center policies and group tasks.

To install Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes using a remote installation task via Kaspersky Security Center:

  1. Open the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console.
  2. In the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console expand the Advanced node.
  3. Expand the Remote installation child node.
  4. In the results pane of the Installation packages child node, click the Create installation package button.
  5. Select the Create an installation package for a Kaspersky application option.
  6. Enter the new installation package name.
  7. Specify the kics_win.kud file from the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes distribution kit as the installation package file.

    The End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy window opens.

  8. If you agree to the terms and conditions of End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy, select the I confirm that I have fully read, understand, and accept the terms and conditions of this End User License Agreement and I am aware and agree that my data will be handled and transmitted (including to third countries) as described in the Privacy Policy. I confirm that I have fully read and understand the Privacy Policy check boxes.

    You must accept the License Agreement and the Privacy Policy to proceed.

  9. To change the set of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes components to be installed and the default installation settings in the installation package:
    1. In the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console expand the Remote installation node.
    2. In the results pane of the Installation packages child node, open the context menu of the created Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes installation package and select Properties.
    3. In the Properties: <name of installation package> window open the Settings section.
    4. Select the type of installation.
    5. Specify the list of exclusions for industrial systems by clicking the Configure button.
    6. In the Component selection section, select the check boxes next to the names of the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes components you want to install.
    7. In the Real-Time File Protection mode section, select the Enable Real-Time File Protection after installation of application (recommended) check box and specify the security level.
    8. Specify a port for remote access.

      Range of possible port values: 1–65535. The default value is 50000.

    9. In order to indicate an installation folder other than the default one, specify the folder name and path in the Configure application installation paths section, by clicking the Settings button.
    10. Specify the configuration file if applicable.
    11. Save your changes.
  10. In the Installation packages node create a task to remotely install Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes on the selected protected devices (administration group). Configure the task settings.

  11. Run the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes remote installation task.

Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will be installed on the protected devices specified in the task.
