Limitations on outdated Windows versions

• Windows XP SP2 version do not allow to block remote devices and configure the List of blocked network sessions settings. In this Windows version, the Block access to network shared resources for the sessions that show malicious activity option is inactive.
• Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes installation:
  • On computers running Windows XP SP2 Professional (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows Server 2003, or Windows Server 2003 R2, when installing the application using Kaspersky Security Center, you must place the setup.exe file from the Network Agent 10.5.1781 installation package into the application installation package folder, and install a private patch for Kaspersky Security Center.
  • On computers running Windows XP SP3 Professional (32-bit), or Windows XP Embedded SP3 (32-bit), when installing the application using Kaspersky Security Center, you must place the setup.exe file from the Network Agent 14.0.0.20023 installation package into the application installation package folder, and install a private patch for Kaspersky Security Center.

• To manage Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes via Kaspersky Security Center:
  • on a computer running Windows XP SP2 Professional (32-bit/64-bit), Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2003 R2, you must use Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent version 10.5.1781.
  • on a computer running Windows XP SP3 Professional (32-bit) and Windows XP Embedded SP3 (32-bit), you must use Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent version 14.0.0.20023.
• On Windows XP computers, telemetry cannot be sent to a data diode using the MQTT protocol.
• For the Performance Analyzer task to work correctly, the computer on which the task is started must be running Windows Vista or later.
