About Anti-Theft

Anti-Theft protects your data against unauthorized access and helps locate your device if it is lost or stolen.

Anti-Theft settings must be configured in advance to allow Anti-Theft functions to be remotely launched on your device.

Anti-Theft lets you perform the following operations remotely via My Kaspersky or special SMS commands sent from the Kaspersky Internet Security installed on another device:

• Lock the device and determine its location.
• Turn on a loud alarm on the device.
• Wipe data from the device.
• Take a mugshot of the person currently using the device.
• Block the device and get the new phone number by using the SIM Watch feature if the device is lost or stolen.
• Protect Kaspersky Internet Security against being uninstalled.

To send an SMS command, you need to know the secret code for Kaspersky Internet Security on your device.

Anti-Theft settings are protected by a secret code.
