To enable Anti-Theft functions, you must first configure Anti-Theft. Anti-Theft functions are disabled by default when the app is installed meaning you cannot start them remotely via My Kaspersky or SMS commands.
After initial configuration, all Anti-Theft functions will be enabled with the settings recommended by Kaspersky Lab.
The Anti-Theft setup wizard can be started only once. You can later configure Anti-Theft in the app settings.
To perform the initial configuration of Anti-Theft:
This starts the Anti-Theft setup wizard.
During the initial configuration, you will be asked to activate Device Administrator for Kaspersky Internet Security. The app needs Device Administrator to allow you remotely manage the device in case it is lost or stolen.
To edit Anti-Theft settings after initial configuration,
In Kaspersky Internet Security's main window , tap
> Anti-Theft.
