To use the web interface, you must install and enable Apache modules (if they are not installed or enabled). To do so, use the tools of the operating system of the computer where Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server is installed.

For example, in the Ubuntu operating system the modules are enabled as follows:

For Apache 2.2:

# a2enmod alias

# a2enmod authz_host

# a2enmod dir

# a2enmod env

# a2enmod expires

# a2enmod headers

# a2enmod rewrite

# a2enmod ssl

# a2enmod version

For Apache 2.4:

# a2enmod alias

# a2enmod authz_core

# a2enmod dir

# a2enmod env

# a2enmod expires

# a2enmod headers

# a2enmod include

# a2enmod rewrite

# a2enmod ssl

# a2enmod version

During this step, you can specify the Apache web server that will be used by the Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server.

The initial configuration script for the program web interface automatically determines the location of the configuration and executable files of the Apache service and displays information about the Apache web server that is located.

If the initial configuration script for the program web interface correctly identified the location of the configuration and executable files of the Apache server, you need to confirm it.

If the initial configuration script for the web interface did not correctly locate the configuration and executable files for the Apache service, or if you do not want to use the selected Apache web server, you need to manually specify the location of the Apache service files of the Apache web server that you want to use.

To confirm the location of the Apache service files:

  1. Enter yes (or y).
  2. Press ENTER.

To specify the location of the Apache service files:

  1. Enter no (or n).
  2. Press ENTER.
  3. Specify the full path to the Apache executable file.
  4. Press ENTER.
  5. Specify the full path to the Apache configuration file.
  6. Press ENTER.
  7. Specify the full path to the Apache run script.
  8. Press ENTER.
