Removing Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server

To remove Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server that was installed from a RPM package, run the following command:

# rpm -e klms

You can remove Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server that was installed from a DEB package by using one of the following methods:

  • remove the program, but keep data created and used by the program during run time.
  • remove the program completely, including all files and directories.

To remove Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server that was installed from a DEB package, run the following command:

# dpkg -r klms

If required, you can remove all files and directories remaining after removal of the application at a later date.

To fully remove Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server that was installed from a DEB package (including all files and folders), run the following command:

# dpkg -P klms

To remove Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server from a FreeBSD 11 server, run the following command:

# pkg delete klms-<version_number>

The program is removed automatically. Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server will be removed, and integration of Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server with the mail server will be canceled.
