A license is a time-limited right to use the application as granted under the End User License Agreement.

The license includes the right to use the application in accordance with the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement and to receive technical support. The scope of available functionality and the application usage term depend on the type of license that was used to activate the application.

The following license types are provided:

  • A Trial license is a free license intended for trying out the application.

A trial license is usually provided for a short duration. As soon as the license expires, all Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server features are disabled. To continue using the application, you must purchase a commercial license.

You can use a trial license to activate the application only once.

  • A Commercial license is a paid license that is provided when you buy the application.

When the commercial license expires, the application stops providing its basic functionality. To continue using Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server, you must renew your commercial license. If you do not plan to renew the license, remove the application from your computer.

We recommend renewing the license before its expiration to ensure maximum protection of your computer against security threats.
