How to install Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server

- Download a distribution package for your operating system (rpm, deb, tgz)
Before installing the application in Debian or Ubuntu, it is necessary to execute the following command # locale-gen en_US.UTF-8
- Use the command that corresponds to your OS to install it:
- rpm: # rpm -i klms-8.0.0-XXX.i386.rpm
- deb: # dpkg -i klms_8.0.0-XXX_i386.deb (for 64 bit distribution packages, use # dpkg -i --force-architecture klms_8.0.0-XXX_i386.deb)
- tgz: # pkg_add klms_8.0.0-XXX_i386.tgz
- rpm: # rpm -i klms-8.0.0-XXX.i386.rpm
- After installing, use the following command:
# /opt/kaspersky/klms/bin/klms-setup.pl
- Proceed with installation paying special attention to step 5 (mail server integration). Unless you select automatic integration, you would have to carry out manual integration with the mail server afterwards.
- Once the installation is complete, you can proceed with installing Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server web interface .
