Creates a new category.

Clicking this button opens a menu with the Keywords, Table data; Quotations from documents; Document templates and Special recipientsitems.

Selecting either one of these menu items opens the Category settings window where you can specify the settings of a category of the relevant type and create the category.

Clicking this button launches the Policy Wizard. This Wizard lets you create a new policy on the basis of the selected category.

Clicking this button performs the following operations:

• If a policy is selected in the list, this button opens the Category settings window where you can edit the selected policy.
• If a category is selected in the list, this button opens the Category: <Category name> window where you can edit the selected category.

Clicking this button performs the following operations:

• If one of the policies is selected in the list, the application deletes the selected policy.
• If one of the categories is selected in the list, the application deletes the selected categories and all policies associated with it. The button is inactive if one of the Kaspersky Lab categories is selected in the list. Kaspersky Lab categories cannot be deleted.

This is a two-level list, with categories on the first level and categories created on their basis on the second level.

Kaspersky Lab categories are marked with the symbol. Custom categories are marked with the symbol.

Clicking the button located to the left of the category name opens a list of policies created on the basis of this category.

Clicking the name of a category or policy in the right part of the section displays detailed information about this category (policy).

Clicking this button opens a window for selecting a user account from Active Directory. This window lets you select a user account to check if this account falls within the scope of any policies.

Clicking this button causes the application to search for policies and refresh the content of tables.

A table with a list of policies whose scope includes the selected user. The application applies the policies enumerated in the table to messages sent to the selected users.

The table contains the following information:

• Category: policy. Name of the category, name of the policy.
• Action. The action to be taken on the message is specified in the policy settings:
  • Delete. The application delete the message violating the policy.
  • Skip. The application skips the message that violated the policy and continues scanning the message using other policies (if any).
  • Inactive. The policy is inactive. The application does not apply this policy to messages.
