You and other security officers can receive information about DLP Module events and DLP Module operation reports via notifications emailed by the application. The application delivers notifications to the specified list of security officers.
Kaspersky Security can send notifications of the following types to the addresses of security officers:
The application sends notifications of this type when the application administrator enables or disables the DLP Module.
The application sends a notification of this type on violating the policy and creating an incident if delivery of notifications of policy violations is enabled in the policy settings.
The application sends a notification of this type if new Kaspersky Lab categories have been received together with the latest application database update. The new categories are displayed in the list of categories and policies in the workspace of the Categories and policies node. In order for the application to start using new categories in Data Leak Prevention, you have to create policies on the basis of the new categories.
By default, delivery of notifications about new Kaspersky Lab categories added to the application is disabled. You can enable delivery of notifications of this type.
Notifications help security officers to receive real-time information about the status of information security at the organization. You are advised to configure the notification settings before using the DLP Module.
