For troubleshooting issues with Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows, Kaspersky technical support engineers may request a Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent connector trace file.

To generate a Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent connector trace file:

  1. Make sure your user account has administrator privileges.
  2. Enable tracing in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows.
  3. Restart the Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent service.

  1. Reproduce the situation that causes the error.
  2. Disable tracing in Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows.
  3. Restart the Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent service.
  4. Save the trace file.

For versions 11.0.0–11.9.0, the trace file is created in the hidden folder %ProgramData%\Kaspersky Lab\KES\Traces.

For Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.10.0 and later, the trace folder contains the product line number. For example, the path for version 11.10.0 would be: %ProgramData%\Kaspersky Lab\KES.21.7\Traces.

The trace file is created in the hidden folder %ProgramData%\Kaspersky Lab\KES\Traces. To view the hidden folder, enable display of hidden files and folders in the operating system settings. For instructions, see this article.

You can only delete the connector trace file once you have disabled tracing and restarted the Network Agent service or rebooted the computer. Please send the trace file to Kaspersky CompanyAccount and describe your issue in detail.
