How to remotely install Network Agent with patches in Kaspersky Security Center 10

This article concerns Kaspersky Security Center 10: 

  • Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0)
  • Service Pack 2 Maintenance Release 1 (version 10.4.343.0)
  • Service Pack 2 (version 10.3.407.0)
 
 
 
 

To remotely install Network Agent with patches:

  1. On the device with Kaspersky Security Center 10 installed, open the folder:
    %Program Files%\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\Share\Packages\NetAgent\exec\patch
  2. Add the patch and the .ini file to it.
  3. Open Kaspersky Security Center 10.
  4. Create an installation package for the Network Agent. See this aticle for instructions.
  5. Go to Tasks and click Create a task.
  6. Select Kaspersky Security Center 10 Administration ServerInstall application remotely. Click Next.

  1. Select the installation package you created. Click Next.

  1. Follow the instructions in the New Task Wizard. For more information about installing applications using a remote installation task, see the Online Help.
    1. At the task settings step of the wizard, in the Force download of the installation package block, clear the Using Network Agent checkbox.

    2. At the Selecting an account to run the task step, select Account required and enter the account credentials.

  1. Run the task manually or wait until it runs according to the schedule.

After the task has completed, Network Agent will be installed with patches on the client device.
