What to do if you cannot remove files from the backup storage in Kaspersky Security Center

Issue
Files in the Kaspersky Security Center backup storage are stuck in the Deleting status and won’t be removed.
The issue is not relevant for Kaspersky Security Center 14 and later. To resolve this issue, upgrade Kaspersky Security Center to the latest version or follow the instructions below.
Solution
- Close the Administration Console.
- On the Administration Server, download the script.zip archive and extract the files from it.
- Run the start.cmd file as an administrator.
- Wait until the script completes successfully.
- Open the Administration Console and check if the objects from the backup were removed.
