What to do if Kaspersky Security Center Web Console does not work or you cannot connect to a server

Issue

Kaspersky Security Center Web Console does not work or you cannot connect to a server.

Solution

  1. Make sure that all required ports are open. See the list of ports for Kaspersky Security Center Web Console and Kaspersky Security Center. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
  2. Check that the version of Kaspersky Security Center Web Console is not earlier or matches the version of the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server. To do so:
    1. Open Control PanelPrograms and Features or press The Windows key on the keyboard+R on the keyboard and type appwiz.cpl.
    2. Find the Administration Server and Kaspersky Security Center Web Console and check the values in the Version column.

    Update Kaspersky Security Center Web Console if the installed version is earlier than the version of the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server. See this article for instructions. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

  1. Repair Kaspersky Security Center Web Console. To do so:
    1. Open Control PanelPrograms and Features or press The Windows key on the keyboard+R on the keyboard and type appwiz.cpl.
    2. Select Kaspersky Security Center Web Console and click Uninstall/Change.

    3. Select Repair in the Kaspersky Security Center Web Console Setup Wizard and click Next.

    4. In the next window, click Repair.
    5. Wait until Kaspersky Security Center Web Console is repaired and click Finish.

    6. Reissue or replace the certificate for Kaspersky Security Center Web Console.

    Kaspersky Security Center Web Console will be repaired and the certificate will be reissued. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

  1. Install Kaspersky Security Center Web Console again.
    1. Open Control PanelPrograms and Features or press The Windows key on the keyboard+R on the keyboard and type appwiz.cpl.
    2. Select Kaspersky Security Center Web Console and click Uninstall/Change.

    3. Select Remove in the Kaspersky Security Center Web Console Setup Wizard and click Next.

    4. In the next window, click Remove.
    5. Wait until Kaspersky Security Center Web Console is removed and click Finish.
    6. Install Kaspersky Security Center Web Console. For instructions, see Online Help.

    Kaspersky Security Center Web Console will be installed again.
