How to free a license in Kaspersky Security Center

After removing Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows from a client computer, the key file may still appear in the Administration Server Key usage report.

To free a license:

  1. Open Kaspersky Security Center.
  2. Go to Managed devices and remove the client computer from the administration group.
  3. Go to Unassigned devices and remove the client computer from the database.
  4. Press F5 on the keyboard to update the Administration Console.
  5. Go to Administration Server and open the Reports tab.
  6. Right-click Report on usage of license keys and click Refresh in the context menu that opens.

If Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows is reinstalled on the computer whilst the old entries were not deleted in Kaspersky Security Center, repeat the steps 1–6 for both the computer’s old and new entries.
