How to update applications installed through Kaspersky Total Security 19
Updating installed applications improves the security of your computer. Kaspersky Total Security can help you run a search for updates for installed applications, download and install the latest updates.
Kaspersky Total Security runs the search regularly and, if new updates are available, shows them in a notification in the lower-right corner of the screen. Click Show to view the available updates.
Click Update all to install all detected updates. You can also install updates for specific applications.

How to start a search for updates manually
- In the main window of Kaspersky Total Security, click the More tools.
- To learn how to open the application, see this guide.
- Go to the Manage applications section and select Software Updater.
- Click Start search.
A search for application updates will start. If the application finds any available updates, a yellow link to the list of such applications will appear. Click it to view all detected updates.

What to do in case of update issues
If the update failed to install, Kaspersky Total Security 19 would show you a notification about that.
In order to fix this issue:
- Check your Internet connection.
- Log into the system with administrator privileges. It’s possible that you didn’t have the permissions required to install the updates.
- Close all the programs running before installing updates, as they might interfere with the installation process.
- Restart the computer once the updates have been installed. Sometimes it is necessary to restart the computer to complete the update.
