In KUMA, you can delete assets in the following ways:

  • Automatically.

Only imported assets are automatically deleted. Manually added assets are not automatically deleted except the case when a manually added asset is merged with an asset imported from KSC or KICS for Networks. In that case, the asset is considered imported and can be deleted automatically.

Imported assets are automatically deleted if information about assets from Kaspersky Security Center has not been updated in KUMA for 30 days (90 days for KICS for Networks assets). An asset may not be updated if Kaspersky Security Center or KICS for Networks do not have information about the asset, or if connection with the Kaspersky Security Center server could not be established for over 30 days (90 days for KICS for Networks). If an asset was deleted, but KUMA resumes receiving information about that asset from Kaspersky Security Center or KICS for Networks, KUMA recreates the asset with a new ID.

  • Manually.

To delete an asset manually:

  1. In the Assets section of the KUMA web interface, click the asset that you want to delete.

The Asset details area opens in the right part of the window.

  2. Click the Delete button.

    A confirmation window opens.

  3. Click OK.

The asset is deleted.
