The updater.ini configuration file parameters in Kaspersky Update Utility 4

The updater.ini file contains operational parameters of Kaspersky Update Utility. It is used by the GUI and console versions of the application. You can edit updater.ini in any text editor.
Updater.ini is divided into sections and contains the list of parameters and their values. For the parameter descriptions, see below.
[ConnectionSettings]

| TimeoutConnection | Connection timeout (in seconds). Values: from 0 to 360. |
| UsePassiveFtpMode | FTP mode selection: Values: true — passive, false — active. |
| UseProxyServer | Use of proxy server. Values: true — use, false — do not use. |
| AutomaticallyDetectProxyServerSettings | Automatic detection of proxy server settings. Values: true — enable, false — disable. |
| UseSpecifiedProxyServerSettings | Use of manually specified proxy server settings. Values: true — use, false — do not use. |
AddressProxyServer | Network proxy server settings. |
| UseAuthenticationProxyServer | Use of proxy server authentication. Values: true — use, false — do not use. |
UserNameProxyServer | Proxy server authentication login and password. |
| ByPassProxyServer | Use of proxy server for local addresses. Values: true — do not use, false — use. |
| RetranslateDiffs | Download of differentiated updates. Values: true (default) — download, false — do not download. |
| DownloadPatches | Download of application modules. Values: true (default) — download, false — do not download. |

| ConfigVersion | Version of the configuration file. It must comply with the first two characters of the application version, e.g. 3.2. |

| AppendToPreviousFile | Add a new report to the existing one. Values: true — add, false — do not add. |
| SizeLogFileValue | Log file size limit (KB). When exceeded, the file is deleted. Values: from 64 to 4194240. Used together with DeleteIfSize. |
| ReportFileName | Report file name. By default saved as report.txt. |
| DeleteIfSize | Delete the report file when it exceeds maximum size. Values: true — delete, false — do not delete. Used together with SizeLogFileValue. |
| DeleteIfNumDay | Rewrite the report file. Used together with NumDayLifeLOgFileValue. |
| NoChangeLogFile | Do now rewrite the report file. Values: true — do not rewrite, false — rewrite. |
| NumDayLifeLOgFileValue | Number of days between log file overwriting. Values: from 1 to 365. Used together with DeleteIfNumDay. |
